Smokin Datil Brie - by Wes Monty -
INGREDIENTS
8oz Brie cheese
2oz sliced almonds
1/4 cup almond flour or all purpose
1 egg
1 apple
1 baguette
¼ cup Smokin Datil
¼ cup honey
Sea salt to taste
Pepper to taste
METHOD
Preheat oven to 350
Dust Brie with almond flour
Dredge in egg
Crust with almonds and some almond flour, add salt and pepper and refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
Stir Smokin Datil and honey together.
Slice apple into 1/8 inch slices.
Saute Brie in olive oil until light golden brown.
Place in preheated oven and bake until heated through but holding together.
Place baguette in oven for 10 minutes.
Slice baguette and plate Brie and apple, drizzle with Smokin Datil.
